What is FolioDesk?
FolioDesk is an online organizer for interior designers. It keeps spec sheets, mood boards, a product library, procurement lists and tasks together in one folder per client, so you are not juggling spreadsheets, screenshots and PDFs. See the full feature tour.
Is FolioDesk related to Fohlio, or to folio desks (furniture)?
No. FolioDesk at foliodesk.net is independent software for interior designers. It is not affiliated with Fohlio, and it is not a piece of furniture.
Who is FolioDesk for?
Independent interior designers, decorators and small design studios who want a simpler way to spec products, present ideas to clients and keep track of orders.
How does making a spec sheet from a product link work?
Paste the link to a product page and FolioDesk reads the public page to fill in the photo, size, price and options. You can edit anything, add notes, then print the sheet with your own branding. What is the Save to FolioDesk button?
A button you drag into your browser's bookmarks bar. When you are on a product page, click it and FolioDesk saves that product to the client and folder you choose, even on shops that block link pasting.
Do I need to install anything?
No. FolioDesk runs in your web browser, so you just log in at foliodesk.net. The only optional extra is the Save to FolioDesk bookmark button.
Can I put my own logo and colors on spec sheets?
Yes. Add your logo, brand colors and fonts once and they appear on every spec sheet you print.
Can I import the procurement spreadsheet I already use?
Yes. You can import a procurement or FF&E list you keep in Excel or Google Sheets. Our free FF&E schedule template shows the columns that work best.
How does background removal on mood boards work?
When you add a product photo to a mood board, FolioDesk removes the background automatically. It runs right in your browser, and you can fine-tune the result with the eraser.
Is my client information private?
Yes. Your clients, products and files are private to your account, and we never sell your information or show ads. Payments are handled by Stripe, so your card number never touches our servers. The privacy policy has the details.
